"Alisha Lynn Semchuck, 75, of Palmdale, California, passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2024. Originally a Chicago native,
she was born to Jack and Edith Tauf, who predeceased her. Alisha is survived by her son Joel Semchuck, his wife Tiffanie,
and her beloved grandson Seth.

Alisha earned a journalism degree from California State University, Northridge and enjoyed a distinguished reporting career
spanning over 30 years. A vocal advocate for local press, she wrote for numerous newspapers and publications across Southern
California, focusing on conservation, water issues, charity work, local events and the arts.

Alisha was deeply passionate about music, theatre, storytelling across all formats, and painting. Her commitment to these
crafts was evident in her professional and personal life. She will be remembered for her dedication, creativity, and the
lasting impact she made through her writing and community involvement. "
